교 회 소 개
할렐루야!
주님께서 부족한 우리들을 통하여 일하셨음을 먼저 밝혀 둡니다. 주님의 이름을 높여드립니다. 1993년 2월28일 "오직 하나님의 영광을 위해서" 예배, 교육, 선교, 봉사라는 교회의 비전을 가지고 성경이 말하는 가장 아이디얼한 교회의 모습을 회복하고 교회다운 교회를 다짐하며 LA열린문교회가 창립되었습니다. 그리고 예수 그리스도께서 우리 교회의 머리가 되시고 목자가 되사 친히 인도해 주시고 평안가운데 든든히 세워 주시며 크게 부흥시켜 주셔서 하나님이 맡겨 주신 사명을 충성되이 감당할 수 있도록 은혜 베풀어주신 하나님께 찬송과 영광과 존귀와 감사를 드립니다.
지난 날 하나님의 말할 수 없는 은혜로 아름다운 교회를 이룰 수 있었습니다. 모두가 서로 사랑하며 앞다투어 봉사하는 선한 사마리아인과 같은 귀한 성도와 함께 "새로운 비전을 꿈꾸는 교회"라는 표어를 가지고 열심히 섬기고 있습니다. 우리 교회는 참으로 좋은 교회입니다.
후손들과 함께 웅비의 꿈을 키워가는 자랑스러운 교회로 세계선교에 크게 이바지하며 어려운 이웃을 위해 봉사의 일을 구체적으로 감당하는 역사적인 교회가 되어야 할 것입니다. 이민교회의 좋은 모델이 되고 샘플이 되는 미래의 위대한 교회가 되기 위하여 사랑으로 하나 되어 손에 손을 마주 잡고 주님의 옷자락잡고 겸손히 헌신해서 아름답고 영광스러운 역사의 교회를 세울 수 있기를 바랍니다. 계속 하나님의 더 놀라우신 축복을 기대하면서 여러분의 사랑과 기도와 순종과 헌신과 충성을 부탁드립니다.

First and foremost, we humbly acknowledge that, though we are unworthy, it is the Lord who has worked through us. We lift high and exalt His holy name. On February 28, 1993, LA Open Door Church was founded with the vision of worship, education, missions, and service, holding firmly to the purpose: “For the glory of God alone.” Our church was founded with a deep desire to restore the ideal biblical model of the church and to become a community truly worthy of that name. Jesus Christ, as the head and shepherd of our church, has personally led us, established us in peace, and blessed us with remarkable growth. We offer all praise, glory, honor, and thanks to God, who has graciously empowered us to faithfully carry out the mission He has entrusted to us.
By God’s indescribable grace, we have been blessed to build a beautiful church over the years. United under the motto, “A Church with a New Vision,” we joyfully serve together with beloved members who love one another and serve eagerly, like the Good Samaritan. Truly, our church is a good church.
Together with the next generation, we must continue to grow as a church—one that dreams boldly, contributes meaningfully to global missions, and faithfully serves those in need. It is our hope that our church will become a historic beacon—an exemplary model for immigrant churches and a shining glimpse of the church of the future. Let us unite in love, hand in hand, humbly clinging to the hem of the Lord’s garment, and wholeheartedly devote ourselves to building a beautiful and glorious church that will be remembered for generations. As we look forward to even greater blessings from God, we earnestly ask for your continued love, prayers, obedience, dedication, and faithfulness.
